CELBAN Writing Sample

A CELBAN writing sample refers to an example of written work produced by a candidate during the writing component of the CELBAN exam. These samples are often used for assessment purposes and may include responses to prompts or questions related to healthcare scenarios, patient care, or other relevant topics. 

The CELBANPrep Writing program offers courses to help Internationally Educated Nurses prepare for the writing tasks. It includes lessons that introduce the four stages of writing for both Task 1 and Task 2 of the exam, focusing on writing in a nursing context with incident reports and assessment reports. By practicing writing exercises and following the structured lessons, IENs are able to create organized pieces of writing within specific time frames, helping them improve their writing skills.

The CELBANPrep Method

The CELBANPrep Method emphasizes teaching Internationally Educated Nurses and Internationally Educated Health Professionals how to create an endless supply of writing prompts and develop their skills to not only pass the CELBAN exam, but also find success on other exams such as the IELTS. 

The program focuses on building up skills gradually through stages, including test-taking strategies, grammar essentials, and writing in a nursing context for Tasks 1 and 2. The goal is for IENs to demonstrate proficiency in writing in moderately demanding situations for the exam. 

The method aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed beyond the CELBAN: emphasizing the importance of mastering communication in the healthcare setting to provide the best care with clarity and confidence.
